Another 14.5k in the bag!! This time at 20 and 1 intervals instead of 15 and 1. And with the chiro the shin pain was at a minimum too. Yay!

Well the countdown is officially on. After 14.5k I’m feeling pretty good. Was starting to tire but could’ve kept running had I needed to so that’s promising. When it rains on the weekend
I figured I’d write a little about going to see the chiro since, like I was before going, a lot of people may be clueless as to what they do/what effect they can have. I went because I’ve been struggling with shin pain for a long while and never seem to be rid of it for good, no matter how good my ice/massage combos are. By the end of this week I’ll have run 14.5, which is almost 50% more than I’ve ever run previous. I shouldn’t think about it like that but it’s hard not to. I’ve emailed a chiropractor that I’m hoping will be able to...

And now I remember why I stopped eating fried...
Had chicken fingers and french fries today for the first time in a long time. Haven’t had much deep fried crap in a few months. Anyway, an hour later I had a pounding headache which I still have, and I can feel the grease on my lips still too. GROSS. Think I just said goodbye to that stuff for good!

Can’t tell if I like it better or not, but my old theme is going to be changed by the designers so I thought I’d try something else for a bit. I’ll see how long it lasts. :-)
Last week was intense, and awesome all at once. I’m not going to be able to make my strength class this Monday again, but am hoping to do Tuesday run/yoga, Wednesday at the pool, Thursday run and maybe hit up a class at the community centre, Friday maybe go to the pool. I’ll probably do my long run on Sunday because I have Saturday plans. The weather here is U-G-L-Y but being a...
